This policy explains what happens to information when you use wheelsignal.com.
What you enter into the calculators
Calculations run entirely in your browser. Tire sizes, measurements, distances, prices and other values you type are not sent to WheelSignal or to any third party, and are not stored.
Saved unit preferences
Each calculator has an optional box labelled “Remember my unit choices on this device”. Only if you tick it, your unit selections (for example miles or kilometres) are saved in your browser’s local storage under the key wheelsignal:prefs:v1. No measurements are saved. This information never leaves your device. You can delete it with the “Clear saved preferences” button on any calculator, by unticking the box, or by clearing site data in your browser.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical information that every web request contains, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. WheelSignal does not use this information to identify you.
Cookies
WheelSignal does not set cookies and does not currently use advertising or tracking cookies.
Analytics
WheelSignal does not currently use an analytics service.
Advertising
WheelSignal does not currently show advertisements. If advertising is introduced, this policy will be updated first.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to external sources such as standards bodies and technical references. Their privacy practices are their own.
Children
The site is a general-audience reference and is not directed at children.
Your rights and contact
Because calculator inputs are not collected, WheelSignal generally holds no personal data about visitors.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
